Job Functions / Responsibilities

Lead and participate in multiple simultaneous engineering efforts for new product development projects:
Prototype and design mechanical or process solutions to resolve novel manufacturing issues related to new product launch
Design and document manufacturing processes for new product: SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, layout studies, cycle time analyses, financial analyses
Review new product design concepts, 3D models, and drawings for manufacturability
Implement process changes on time and in budget for new product launch

Qualifications & Skills Required

Actively enrolled in a B.S. Degree in Engineering (Prefer Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)
Proven problem-solving skills
Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment
Ability to work within deadlines to achieve goals
Desired Experience with 3D CAD Software
Experience with Microsoft Office Products
Previous internship or applicable experience in an engineering or automotive opportunity
