As a Physical Therapist at Columbine Therapy Services, you will:
Experience: Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy, Bachelor's or greater degree required. Licensed by the State of Colorado as a Physical Therapist. Experience in geriatrics, long-term care or subacute rehab preferred. Knowledge of Medicare documentation and guidelines preferred.
Skills: Ability to evaluate physical conditions, understand patient limitations, and develop customized treatment plans. Expertise in physical therapy techniques such as stretching, exercise programs, and manual therapy. Proficient in explaining treatment plans and progress to patients, families, and healthcare teams in a clear and empathetic manner. Accuracy in maintaining patient records, progress notes, and treatment evaluations in compliance with healthcare regulations. Familiarity with physical therapy tools, modalities, and software used in treatment and patient tracking.
Attributes: Ability to understand and relate to patients' challenges, providing emotional support while encouraging progress. Willingness to work with patients at varying levels of recovery, showing persistence and understanding throughout long rehabilitation processes. Flexibility in adjusting treatment plans and approaches based on patient progress and unique needs in different settings (e.g., home, clinic). Strong focus on ensuring accurate assessments, documentation, and adherence to treatment protocols to prevent errors. Ability to work effectively with other healthcare professionals and support staff to provide holistic and coordinated care.
