Over the last 5 years, oncology care at Colquitt Regional has grown by over 80%. Now servicing over 350 new cancer diagnosis each year and 16K annual visits, this is an opportunity to lead a highly trained and compassionate staff forward.
The Edwards Center provides physician driven care plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, HDR and brachytherapy, surgical interventions, and supportive care. The Center is 12,000 sq feet and includes 26 employees, including 4 physicians, 2 NPs, Nurse navigator, 5 nurses, 3 radiation therapists, 5 medical assistants, 1 medical dosimetrist, and 5 patient account reps. We treat a wide array of cancer diagnosis, focusing on the most prevalent of breast, gynecologic, prostate, colon, and lung, with a dedicated focus on the patient experience and personalized care.
Work closely with administration, physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff to constantly test workflows and processes for this increase in volume, meanwhile making sure that the care we provide is comprehensive and up to date with all clinical compendium and standards. Advocate for efficiency in all operational areas, and test and validate systems and processes for highest quality and performance.
