Position Purpose: Entry-level position, supporting recreation personnel in the success and coordination of activities and programs of the recreation department. This is an in-person position that is not eligible for remote work. Experience and Training: Minimum education: high school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. Consideration will be given for a combination of education and related work experience. Job Certifications: Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire. Job Requirements: Valid Colorado driver's license or ability to obtain within six months of hire. Must be able to pass a background check and MVR with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle. Ability to work evening and weekend hours as required. Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: One year of related work experience in recreation. This position is full-time with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as retirement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. Wage range is $22.76-$25.09 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is open until 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 10th. The City of Rifle is an equal opportunity employer.
