Our Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer/Associate for our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Menlo Park, CA; Irvine, CA; Oakland, CA; Denver, CO; Atlanta, GA; Warrenville, IL; Houston, TX; or New York, NY. In this role, you will work as part of a team conducting analytical and computer problem-solving, performing experimental field investigations and diagnostic surveys, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection, analysis and determination of root causes of structural performance failures
  • Performing quantitative risk analysis for structures
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations
  • Establishing professional expertise through continued professional development

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus, or related field
  • P.E. or S.E. license or the ability to become licensed
  • Excellent creative problem-solving ability
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead and work in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to gather information from and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and industry
