Sr Planning Engineer

Civil Engineer (PE) Position

Front Range Staffing is seeking a Civil Engineer (Pe) with 4 to 8 years' experience in utilities. Wastewater and roadways for a local family owned and operated engineering firm. Pay range $70,000 to $100,000 a year, pay is negotiable depending on experience. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to 5pm, this position is in office. This position will perform designing, planning, and overseeing various construction and infrastructure projects, with a focus on grading, erosion control, drainage, and utility plans. Duties include the preparation of grading, erosion control, drainage, and utility plans, along with the writing of reports and narratives and will interact with design teams and local agencies.

An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:

• Develop and prepare engineering plans, designs, and specifications for various civil engineering projects, including roads, grading, erosion control, bridges, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Perform calculations and analysis to ensure the structural integrity and safety of proposed designs.
• Prepare and review technical reports, project documentation, and environmental impact assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering software and tools for design and analysis purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Capable of working independently and making decisions.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Colorado.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
