We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Roadway Lighting & Electrical Engineer to join our Traffic Design team. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, with proven expertise in roadway and sign illumination systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of delivering complex infrastructure projects and demonstrate strategic thinking in the integration of lighting and electrical systems within transportation environments. Experience in traffic signal systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) design is strongly preferred. This position will play a critical role in shaping innovative, reliable, and sustainable electrical solutions across a variety of civil infrastructure projects, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be leading and mentoring engineers/designers and collaborating with our other design centers to provide roadway lighting and electrical engineering expertise and designs for design/build and other alternative delivery projects across North America.
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design Build/Alternative Delivery team are driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to manage their multi-disciplined design teams to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety. They analyze problems, determine root causes, and resolve design issues before they impact schedule and budget. Particularly on large design-build projects, clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and best design practices for all projects that we support. This role will be based out of our Lone Tree, Colorado location. We offer relocation assistance for candidates outside of the area.
