Beginning pay range for position: $20.00 - 21.50 per hour. This position is 40 hours per week with one weekend day required and runs until the end of November '25. Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, the Maintenance Worker performs grounds and facilities-related maintenance duties at the Coyote Creek Golf Course.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age.
Experience: Previous experience with tools, machines, and equipment used in the maintenance of a golf course preferred. Previous golf or landscape experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Class R Driver's License with good driving history at the time of application. Must be able to obtain CPR certification within first 6 months of employment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may work in elevated areas. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including bright sunlight, heat, light rainfall, wind, and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must be able to express ideas clearly and concisely. Must be able to communicate problems with supervisor.
