Network Engineer – INTL India - Remote Eligible

Senior Network Engineer

A large manufacturing client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their growing team to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network solutions. This person will work remotely in India. This individual will design and maintain secure network solutions, provide advanced support for complex issues, and manage firewalls, load balancers, and Zero Trust deployments. They will work with cross-functional teams and lead automation and modernization efforts. This role is instrumental in delivering new technical capabilities, reducing technical debt, and providing advanced support for complex network issues across a global infrastructure. Schedule: Work during APAC business hours (roughly 9 AM–6 PM India time). They will have some overlap with US mornings (7–11 AM US time) so they can join meetings. For example, if US Eastern Time is 7–11 AM, that's 5:30–9:30 PM in India. They won't work full weekends, but they should be available for urgent fixes (break/fix) if something breaks. Pay Rate: 20-24/hr

Skills and Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer in a Global or Enterprise Organization
• Expert-level understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs)
• Experience managing Palo Alto Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers
• Experience monitoring and deploying patches to routers and switches (Cisco devices preferred)
• Experience configuring and deploying SD-WAN and VPN solutions (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, FortiGate)
• Experience supporting remote sites (configuration, deployment, troubleshooting)
• Familiarity with Data Center Infrastructure technologies (e.g., Cisco Nexus, UPC, VXLAN)
• Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
