Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide essential engineering support for various components including spacecraft, structures, MGSE, and actuators. You will be responsible for creating and interpreting work instructions, coordinating with mechanical and test engineering teams on scheduling and deliverables, and designing test equipment. Additionally, you will support work involving GD&T and SolidWorks and assist with drafting work instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide manufacturing engineering support for spacecraft, structures, MGSE, and actuators.
  • Create and interpret work instructions.
  • Coordinate with mechanical and test engineering teams on scheduling and deliverables.
  • Design test equipment.
  • Support work with GD&T and SolidWorks.
  • Assist with drafting work instructions.

Essential Skills:

  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting work instructions.
  • Experience with test equipment design.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and SolidWorks.

Work Environment:

The work environment is set in a manufacturing setting, with an open workspace where collaboration is encouraged. The leadership team is accessible, with the founder working closely with engineers, embodying the company's culture of 'Build, Break, Fly'. The company embraces learning from failures as part of the growth process. The team operates on a hybrid schedule with three days on-site and two remote, offering flexible hours.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, CO. Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
