Linux Systems Engineer I

A large telecommunications client is looking for a System Engineer II to join their growing Network Services Integration Engineering team. This position is joining the Lab Operations organization, which is responsible for maintenance of the internal lab. The end customer this group supports are internal employees (development, mobile, voice, network, etc. teams). This individual will be responsible for validation and support of service activation provisioning applications. You will assist in environment monitoring, maintenance, provisioning, and overall management.

Pay Range: $32-38 / hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a System Administrator
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Experience monitoring, maintaining, and provisioning (wireshark, splunk, datadog) system environments
• Experience deploying solutions using Ansible and/or Kubernetes
• Oracle DB experience
• Telecommunications industry experience
