Lead Systems Engineer

We are committed to work life balance by promoting this remote telework option. These job requirements allow the employee to work their entire schedule somewhere other than a Lockheed Martin designated office or job site. Do you want to be part of a culture that inspires employees to think big, innovate, perform with excellence, and build passion, drive, and courage to dream big, then we want to build a better tomorrow with you. Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems' C4ISR team is looking for a proven and experienced Lead Systems Engineer to support a one-of-a-kind Cross Business Area campaign that exemplifies our commitment to our OneLM Strategy.

The Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) effort combines SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration & Test) with Mission Engineering, an Innovation-Insertion Team, and an Advisory Board to "box the problem, identify tech solutions, integrate them into the stack, roll-out/adopt, and assess impact." The Lead Systems Engineer (Lead SE) will own the systems-engineering lifecycle for the LSI domain, driving requirements definition, architecture, verification & validation (V&V), configuration control, and risk management across the SEIT, Innovation-Insertion, and Advisory-Board activities. This position is the technical hub that ensures all subsystems (hardware, software, AI/ML, cloud, and HMI) are coherently integrated and that mission-level performance is achieved for the Detection → Prediction → Response → Recovery workflow.

The Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Integration team within our Digital Production Environment is building and delivering a cloud Lake, Digital Framework, and seamless integration of Lockheed Martin and 3rd-party applications.
