This program manager position oversees the engineering aspects of development review services associated with Land Use Applications. This position supervises a staff of four Engineers and manages complex engineering work in the design, investigation, and construction of public works and utility projects as it relates to new land development and utility construction. The position provides project management and project engineering expertise to various types of public works projects and applies extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices across broad areas of assignments. This position works with a high degree of independence in making decisions and managing assigned areas.
The pay range for this position is $105,966 to $169,271 annually. The anticipated hiring range will be around the midpoint of the pay range for well-qualified applicants.

- Knowledge of advanced principles and practices of engineering, project planning, and project management.
- Knowledge of various methods and techniques used in the design and construction of a wide variety of public works and utilities engineering projects.

- Knowledge of effective management and supervisory principles and practices.
- Ability to make complex engineering computations and check, design, and supervise the construction of a wide variety of public and private facilities.
