This position is in support of the Chief Engineer's Office on the Fleet Ballistic Missile program. We are seeking a dynamic and independently motivated candidate who will act as the administrator of the engineering training curriculum located on FBM's training system. The person selected for this position will support the Training and Development lead in the administration, management, design, and implementation of the engineering training curriculum on the FBM training system. The candidate will establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Training Center of Excellence administrators to enable timely deployment of curriculum and gathering of performance metrics to inform continuous improvement activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and organizing feedback from training stakeholders
  • Providing engineering user support to QCT training system, including access and use of the system
  • Assist with data queries
  • Assisting managers with new employee access and training of QCT, including eCSAR/smartcard help
  • Providing system monitoring of the engineering training area within QCT
  • Collaborating with TCOE administrators on system issues affecting engineering training – supporting problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
  • Provision of data to the Engineering Training and Development Lead for generation of metrics
  • Providing support for the escalation and communication of QCT system status to the Chief Engineer
  • Managing technical services including tasks, work products, processes, and support

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent experience, and/or technical training. Coursework completed towards a degree may be considered.
  • Basic understanding of STEM principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve
  • Ability to tackle detailed technical assignments often requiring learning or developing planning and integration skills
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with site administration, managing permissions, troubleshooting system issues and configuring database systems
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, listening, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships
  • Experience working in an agile environment, including the use of Confluence and Jira
  • Desire to continually learn, ambition to proactively address challenges, and aspiration to work in a diverse team environment
  • Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $48,500 - $85,675. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
