Provides emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a physician, physician's assistant, and/or registered nurse. Responsibilities include performing technical procedures, assisting with medical procedures, reporting abnormal findings, and maintaining patient rooms.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic life support certification, and current state licensure as an EMT with IV certification.
