DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work hands-on as a member of the Software Assurance Team (SwA) to ensure the secure development of software. You will collaborate with the team to review results from various tools such as SonarQube, SonaType, and Fortify. Additionally, you will work closely with the development team to remediate vulnerabilities found in the source code, justify false positives, and create containerized versions of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure secure software development as a member of the Software Assurance Team.
• Review and analyze results from tools like SonarQube, SonaType, and Fortify.
• Collaborate with the development team to address vulnerabilities in the source code.
• Justify false positives identified during security assessments.
• Create containerized versions of applications.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD processes.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerized services.
• Experience with containerized deployments using AWS EKS or other platforms.
• Proficiency in C#.NET.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cybersecurity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD processes.

Work Environment:

The position is fully onsite in Southeast COS, working closely with both the Software Development and Cybersecurity teams. The work involves cutting-edge projects supporting Army and USSF missions, providing an opportunity to contribute to government customer initiatives. The work environment fosters collaboration and innovation in a growing company whose Space Systems group is headquartered in COS.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
