Flexible contract assignments available. Travel Nursing directly with AdventHealth, no third party agency involved. The Community You'll Be Caring For

AdventHealth Porter Hospital-Southmoor

General Summary

Performs CT imaging procedures. Perform X-Ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed. Cross-train into MRI during downtime. Maintains records of examinations performed. Assists in Radiology Department as needed. Where appropriate by licensure and cross training, may function as a Radiology technologist. Responsibility to adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

Principal Duties And Job Responsibilities

Performs CT imaging procedures. Performs X-Ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed. Cross-train into MRI during downtime. Maintains records of examinations performed. Performs basic patient care with scope of practice and to departmental standards. Where appropriate by licensure and cross training, may function as a Radiology technologist. Positions patients and equipment, and selects technical factors to produce procedure images and data as needed to meet radiologist standards.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

• Two years CT experience required.
• Must be a graduate of an approved A.R.R.T. / Radiology Technology program.

Licensure, Certification or Registration Required:

• Current A.R.R.T(CT) registration and certification
• Current State Certified Radiologic Technologist license upon hire
• BLS required

The salary range reflects the anticipated base pay range for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on skills, experience and other relevant factors within this pay range. The minimums and maximums for each position may vary based on geographical location.
