We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This contract position offers a versatile role combining customer interaction, technical product knowledge, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service, and contributing to the success of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage sales orders using proprietary software systems.
• Communicate effectively with team members through Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
• Assist in order fulfillment and handle warehouse tasks with attention to detail.
• Acquire and share technical product knowledge with customers, including parts, terminology, and applications.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Complete forklift training and certification provided by the company to support warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and streamline logistics processes.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Support business sales initiatives by identifying customer needs and offering suitable solutions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Office Suite applications, including Outlook and Teams.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Eagerness to learn technical product details and workplace terminology.
• Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment and operate equipment after training.
• Experience in answering inbound calls and managing customer inquiries.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar systems for data entry and sales processes.
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Previous experience in business sales or customer service is highly valued.
