Customer Support Specialist – AR Operations (Hybrid, Full-Time)

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Full-Time

Location: Hybrid (onsite + remote)

Pay Range: $26–$30/hour DOE

Overview

We're seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join a dynamic Accounts Receivable (AR) Operations team. In this hybrid role, you'll provide professional, responsive support to branches and customers, helping to resolve inquiries, educate users on product features, and maintain accurate records. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner.
  • Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of company products to effectively guide customers and provide accurate information.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify customer needs, offer solutions, and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Documentation: Record interactions, transactions, and resolutions in internal systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient resolution of AR-related issues.
  • Training & Best Practices: Support onboarding of new team members and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional service and maintain a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Accounting or customer service background preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with SAP S/4 Hana FI and High Radius CAA is a plus. Familiar with help desk software, CRM platforms, and remote support tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organization and multitasking abilities, and a proactive, adaptable attitude.
