To be able to help more people, we are now opening a new production site in Felgueiras and therefore, we are looking for an HSE Engineer to join our team. This is your chance to lead initiatives that ensure a safe and sustainable work environment while promoting employee health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Your challenge:

• Ensure a safe and sustainable work environment, complying with legal and internal standards.
• Monitor and reduce the Lost Time Incident (LTI) rate.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and approve equipment and process safety.
• Develop and implement EHS training at all organizational levels.
• Oversee emergency response plans, waste management, and environmental compliance.
• Perform safety audits at supplier sites and assess machines before implementation.
• Coordinate CAPA and Change Control System activity

What we expect from you:

• A passionate person about safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement, this is your chance to make an impact!
• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related fields.
• Experience in EHS, with strong knowledge of SO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• English level C1
• Willingness to travel for machine safety assessments at supplier sites.
• CAP - Técnico Superior de Segurança no Trabalho
• ATEX knowledge
