Key Account Manager

We, the Collaborative Marketing Club – CMC GmbH, are a marketing agency with a focus on conversion rate optimization and return on ad spend optimization in print marketing. For our customers, we implement print mailing and package insert campaigns in full service from conception to execution.

Our projects include, for example, addressed and partially addressed print mailings for existing customer activation and new customer acquisition. We primarily work for customers in the e-commerce, D2C-brands, and online-driven business models.

As an addition to our team, we are looking for you as our new team member as soon as possible. Together with you, we want to deliver the best possible work for our customers and satisfy our customers.

Responsibilities

Your Mission

We are convinced that structured key account management helps us to better fulfill our value proposition for our key account customers. Together with our key accounts, we want to develop our company, work on innovative approaches and solutions, and expand to our account customers in general sales.

For this purpose, we would like to expand our expertise in key account management and position ourselves and our service portfolio individually for our key accounts.

For this you will take responsibility together with the colleagues from the account and sales management and drive this topic forward.

Your Goals:

In the first three months:

  • Training in our products, processes, and team
  • Taking over our largest key account, including project coordination and documentation for this customer
  • Joint development of the campaign plan for this key account

In the first six months:

  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Expanding the margin achieved from working with our key accounts by 20%
  • Building automation capabilities for print mailings for our key accounts

In the first 12 months:

  • Development and/or taking over of three further key accounts, accompanied by the management

Qualification

Your Profile

  • You hold a university degree, preferably in business, marketing, or business communication.
  • You have several years of experience as a key account manager with a background in B2B marketing, preferably in the e-commerce environment.
  • You have fluent German and English language skills.
  • You are a leader for a (virtual) team, without your own leadership responsibility.
  • You are an information manager between the key account and our company. You ensure an information flow in both directions.
  • As a key account manager, you are responsible for the business relationship with our key accounts in the short, medium, and long term.
  • You are a salesperson. It is about understanding the customer's requirements, developing suitable concepts and offers, presenting them, and finally selling them. Your excellent knowledge of negotiation techniques, presentation techniques, and sales techniques will help you with this.
  • You are a relationship manager and build a deep understanding of the different roles in the company of our key accounts.
  • You are an output manager – you not only sell our key accounts our services, but also show the key account what output and performance it achieves or receives as a result.

  • Travel-ready: For you, customer visits and trade fair visits are part of successful account management.
