Coleg Ceredigion is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Automotive Engineering to join our dynamic team at the Cardigan Campus. The Automotive Engineering provision is based at the Cardigan campus although lecturers may occasionally be required to work at off-site venues, e.g. partner schools, commercial sites and events. As a Lecturer in Automotive Engineering, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons across a range of qualifications, from Level 1 to Level 3, including apprenticeships. You will play a key role in developing learners’ skills and knowledge in a hands-on environment, ensuring they are well-prepared for careers in the rapidly evolving automotive industry.

Contribute to the teaching, assessment and coordination of programmes of study leading to Entry Level 3, Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Automotive Engineering; Contribute to the teaching and development of other PT, schools provision and commercial programmes, e.g. short courses; Undertake an assessor or internal verifier qualification within 3 years of appointment (if unqualified); Assume role of a Learning Area Programme Lead (LAP Leader) where required. Undertake assessment and verification duties; Contribute to the development of new courses and creation of a culture of innovation and commercial activities; Carry out any other duties as directed by the Principal/Chief Executive commensurate with the grade of the post at the initial place of work or other locations within the College.
