Job Description

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all services on fountain and cooler equipment within an assigned territory. This role will lead a team of field service technicians, oversee service operations, and uphold the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Field Service Supervisor will build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and address any service-related issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of field service technicians responsible for servicing fountain and cooler equipment.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team members perform at their best and adhere to company standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and repairs as needed.
  • Communicate expectations while creating an environment of accountability and continuous improvement of daily execution.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs.
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies to support service operations, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including retail partners and foodservice establishments, to understand their needs and address any service-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Track and report progress to drive strategic initiatives and ensure goals are achieved.
  • Make recommendations and implement processes to improve the overall productivity, quality and safety of cooler service operations.

Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Refrigeration / HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred. Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment. 3+ years of refrigeration or HVAC experience preferred. Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and service management software. Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings, as well as in confined spaces. Must have the ability to maneuver equipment in order to perform mechanical services. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Valid driver's license and driving record within company's MVR policy guidelines.
