Automotive Hardware In The Loop Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Hardware In The Loop (HIL) Commissioning Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience in automotive testing and validation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in dSPACE SystemDesk Diagnostics Validation and Test Plan Development. This role involves working in a remote model with occasional travel. The candidate will contribute to the success of our automotive projects by ensuring high-quality testing and validation processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for automotive systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and protocols.
- Utilize SystemDesk for efficient diagnostics validation and testing processes.
- Conduct thorough component and system testing using tools like CANoe and CANalyzer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve testing issues.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using dSPACE and LabVIEW.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure all testing activities align with the company’s quality assurance standards.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes.
- Oversee the integration of automotive protocols in testing scenarios.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers to align testing schedules with project timelines.
- Ensure effective communication of testing progress and results to relevant teams.
- Travel occasionally to client sites for on-site testing and validation activities.
Qualifications
- Possess strong experience in SystemDesk and Diagnostics Validation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Test Plan Development and Automotive Protocols.
- Have hands-on experience with CANoe and CANalyzer for testing purposes.
- Show expertise in using dSPACE and LabVIEW for test automation.
- Exhibit knowledge in Auto-Verification and Validation processes.
- Display strong analytical skills for interpreting test data.
- Maintain excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
