TMS Support Lead

As a TMS Support Lead, you will make an impact by ensuring seamless support and enhancement of TMS applications, driving operational stability, and delivering critical business changes. You will be a valued member of the Application Support and Enhancement Team, collaborating closely with stakeholders, technical POCs, and cross-functional teams to maintain and improve system performance.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage the support and enhancement team to ensure timely delivery and smooth coordination between teams.
  • Investigate and resolve critical incidents through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions via change management processes.
  • Perform business-critical changes for key functional enhancements and stabilize application/job requests.

Design and implement minor application enhancements requiring 40 hours or less per request, including effort estimation for related system changes.

  • Monitor applications, batch jobs, Cherwell tickets, and support mailboxes, ensuring proactive incident resolution and prioritization of high/critical issues.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and deploy operational changes (including hot fixes) while adhering to SpartanNash's development lifecycle and tollgate requirements.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 8+ years of experience in Manhattan or McLeod Transportation Management System (TMS) applications.
  • Proven experience in production support, including handling P1/P2 defects and leading TMS support projects.
  • Strong knowledge of TMS application implementation practices and procedures.
  • Ability to manage teams, stakeholders, and technical POCs effectively.
  • Experience performing Root Cause Analysis and implementing permanent resolutions for critical incidents.

These will help you stand out

  • Hands-on experience with application enhancement and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with SpartanNash's development lifecycle and tollgate deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex processes.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and business teams.

Salary and other compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
