We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python Databricks SQL and PySpark. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. The role is hybrid with no travel required and the shift is day. The candidate will contribute to innovative projects enhancing our services and impacting the industry.

Data scientists develop robust, efficient, and scalable AI models to extract valuable information from various unstructured data sources, including but not limited to PDFs, Word documents, and Excel files. They design and implement logic to process this data and generate meaningful outputs to support user decision-making.

Candidates must possess extensive experience with Python, large language models (LLMs), machine learning techniques, data structures, and algorithms. Their expertise enables them to create innovative solutions that handle complex data processing challenges effectively.

Tech Skillsets - Python, large language models (LLMs), machine learning, data structures, and algorithms. Solid track in Azure Cloud.

Technical competencies: Applicants will be accepted till 9/30/2025.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $100K-$105K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
