Service Line Specialist for Intuitive Operations & Automation (IOA)

Cognizant's Intuitive Operations & Automation (IOA) business unit is one of Cognizant's highest growth businesses. To accelerate this growth even further, IOA is fast-growing into industries, service lines and markets globally. One of IOA's strategic growth markets is North America, and we are looking for a highly accomplished, successful Healthcare IOA service line specialist (SLS). The Healthcare SLS will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the vertical. Own an aggressive growth strategy by fast-growing market share and further penetrating existing client relationships with additional valued solutions. The applicant will have a visible presence within the Healthcare industry representing Cognizant and our service offerings across the Payor and Provider industry landscape.

Role Summary

Role - The applicant will be hired as a Healthcare BPaaS SLS within the NA Intuitive Operations and Automation practice.

Location – Open to US

Travel – Travel will vary depending on customer and prospect requirements.

Experience

  • Experience working for a leading BPS, Consulting, or relevant Healthcare organization (Payer/provider organizations) and in supporting Payviders and RCM services is needed.
  • Consistent record of growing business successfully over the years through strong client relationships and a deep understanding of the Healthcare Industry.
  • Demonstrated ability of building sales and account management teams and supporting clients at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of Digital Operations/BPS and able to engage C-level executives in detailed BPO deal, solution, transition, and transformation shaping discussions and lead end to end of an entire lifecycle of a deal.
  • Deep Healthcare knowledge in Payer or Provider space and RCM services.
  • Significant international experience required including being conversant in global service delivery models – both shared services and BPS.
  • Well-developed "rolodex" as well as the tried ability to create strategic partnerships with large and sophisticated organizations.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced ambitious and highly matrixed organization.
  • Validated ability to guide, influence and develop a wide range of professionals.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to "roll up your sleeves" and work with a client to create timely solutions and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and improve the go-to-market plans, offerings, and value propositions.
  • Drive sales, Pipeline and revenue generators
  • Create strong relationships and collaboration with both the Delivery Leader in the Healthcare BPS as well as the larger Healthcare sector in general such that there is consistent value and expansion of offerings and growth across the whole of the practice.
  • Build strong internal relationships with Cognizant's vertical BU Heads, offshore Delivery Heads, and other core leaders.

Other Skills and Experience

Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent experience in business management / administration; or health case discipline preferred.

Global Business Services – Client-facing GBS project experience is helpful.

Technology Outsourcing - Background in technology outsourcing solutions is helpful.

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

The annual salary for this position is between $190,000 - $220,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
