Senior SDET Automation Engineer

What you'll need to succeed (required skills):

  • Overall 7-12 years of Automation testing experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years in test automation development.
  • Good experience in test automation strategy.
  • Test Execution & Maintenance.
  • Experience with CI/CD Integration.
  • Quality Metrics & Reporting.
  • Process Improvement.
  • Defect Reporting tools.

In this role, you will:

  • Define the automation roadmap, coverage goals, and tool selection and ensure scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks are in place.
  • Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems.
  • Run automated tests regularly and update scripts as the application evolves.
  • Embed automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Track KPIs like test coverage, defect density, and automation ROI; report to stakeholders.
  • Continuously refine QA processes to align with Agile and DevOps best practices.
  • Log bugs with detailed reproduction steps and collaborate with developers for resolution.
  • Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Deep expertise in test automation frameworks and architecture.
  • Strong grasp of Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left testing principles.
  • Ability to define KPIs and quality metrics.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills.
