Senior QA Engineer – IVR & Salesforce Automation

As a Senior QA Engineer – IVR & Salesforce Automation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce-integrated contact center solutions, with a strong focus on Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems. You will be a valued member of the QA and delivery team, collaborating with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to validate functionality across digital channels and platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for IVR call flows using the Cyara platform
  • Execute automated tests to validate IVR functionality including voice prompts, DTMF recognition, data integrations, and routing logic
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Salesforce Service Cloud and related modules
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, and data integrity for contact center operations
  • Develop test strategies and plans for contact center and Salesforce initiatives
  • Document test results, log defects, and track resolution
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle

Work Model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days/week onsite at a client location in Hartford, CT; Atlanta, GA; or St. Paul, MN. What you need to have to be considered

  • Proven experience in QA and automated testing within contact center environments
  • Hands-on experience with IVR test automation using Cyara
  • Strong understanding of IVR systems, telephony environments, and digital channels (Chat, Chatbot, Email, SMS)
  • Experience testing Salesforce Service Cloud and related applications
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Experience with agent desktop testing and system integrations
  • Playwright automation skills
  • Proven ability to manage defect tracking and reporting across tools
  • Confidence in communicating testing status and risks to stakeholders

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until October 31st, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to $104,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
