Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a Hybrid position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Location: Boston, MA

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years manual data testing Selenium and web applications.
  • Agile and Scrum, lead/manage teams from software quality.
  • Managed and maintained QC tool installation and administration work.
  • Possess strong experience in manual data testing and Selenium.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in web application testing and test metrics reporting.
  • Have expertise in using SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira for testing activities.
  • Show capability in manual end-to-end business process assurance.
  • Exhibit basic programming skills to support testing automation.
  • Experience in the provider domain is a plus.
  • Adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving testing challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual data testing, Selenium and web applications along with proficiency in test metrics and reporting.
  • Lead the testing efforts for various projects ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee manual data testing processes to validate data integrity and accuracy.
  • Utilize Selenium for automated testing of web applications to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain test metrics and report to track project progress and quality.
  • Implement and manage testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Conduct manual end-to-end business process assurance to validate system functionality.
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution using SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve testing issues.
  • Contribute to the company's mission by ensuring the delivery of reliable and efficient software solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 08/15/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 – $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Work Authorization:
