Salesforce OmniStudio Developer
As a Salesforce OmniStudio Developer, you will make an impact by designing and implementing scalable, low-code solutions using Salesforce OmniStudio tools. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative business applications.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and deploy guided workflows (OmniScripts), dynamic user interfaces (FlexCards), and data tools (DataRaptors, Integration Procedures) to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs for seamless data exchange.
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security protocols to ensure scalable and maintainable applications.
- Participate in Agile development processes including daily scrums, sprint planning, and iterative delivery cycles.
Work model:

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in NJ, NC, TX or Chicago, MA. What you need to have to be considered:
- Proven experience with Salesforce platforms including Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex.
- Hands-on expertise with OmniStudio tools: OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs, data modeling, and integration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
- Experience working with industry-specific Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Health Cloud or Financial Services Cloud).
These will help you stand out:
- Salesforce certifications in OmniStudio or related areas.
- Experience in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices within Salesforce environments.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation.
- Exposure to other low-code platforms or CRM systems.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $83,600 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
