Job Summary

Seeking a Product Owner to join our Product Management - Warehouse Technologies team who will support our warehouse execution system LinOS. LinOS is a platform that orchestrates warehouse operations from controlling warehouse automation hardware to mobile and desktop applications our warehouse Team Members use. LinOS powers our most advanced automated warehouses and is bringing efficiency to our traditional manual warehouses by orchestrating team member task assignment and routing

Our Product Management organization exists to enable that mission by spearheading Lineages technology transformation. Lineage is changing the way warehouses operate around the globe while incorporating sustainable business practices integrating transportation services and empowering customers and partners across the supply chain with end-to-end visibility and control.

This role is focused on the service that integrates the key components of LinOS as well as tracks and manages state of warehouse execution from inbound pallet unloading and receiving to outbound order execution and loading.

As a Product Owner on LinOS Services team you will be responsible for engaging with business and technology stakeholders to understand their problems and needs to translate them into well-defined API and service requirements and drive delivery of platform capabilities that enable.

You will work with Product Managers to analyze and prioritize the most valuable innovations that align to our enterprise strategic goals. You are a self-starter driven by curiosity and a passion to improve business execution and decision-making through technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes the needs / incoming requests of stakeholders while considering value scope budget resources dependencies and time
  • Create product requirement documentation that clearly articulates the problem to be solved and subsequently maintains it with additions amendments and removals of functionality
  • Plans upcoming work and supports team capacity for quarterly forecasting
  • Communicates expectations and gains buy in from stakeholders
  • Translates business problems into technical problems to give clear instructions for developers
  • Anticipates the needs of key stakeholders by maintaining a deep understanding of what they do and want
  • Works with engineers and architects to define a solution for stakeholder and data-driven initiatives
  • Creates updates and removes epics and/or user stories in the product backlog
  • Collaborates with engineers to estimate/size each user story
  • Defines and clearly articulates problem statements and acceptance criteria (business requirements) for each Epic and User Story
  • Maps dependencies between epics and stories
  • Prioritizes user stories to deliver the highest value each sprint and ensure that OKRs and deliverable timelines are met
  • Defines the vision and objectives with metrics for each sprint
  • Communicate and inform Delivery team partners status of development progress
  • Participates in sprint ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives
  • Collaborates with engineers to answer questions and make connections while clearly explaining the purpose problem statement and requirements
  • Reviews and signs off on completed user stories and epics
  • Removes blockers for developer teams
  • Plans functional demos with stakeholders as needed
  • Approves transition to build test and release phases within the product lifecycle
  • Document the products evolution
  • Create communications to stakeholders about product releases

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors (BA or BS) in business computer science or related field
  • More than 2 years previous experience as a product owner or business analyst
  • Experience working on APIs microservices integrations or platform products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and deliver results to a non-technical audience
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies SDLC technical understanding of products and up to date on industry standards and best practices
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts UI UX team leadership senior management and internal and external stakeholders
  • Close attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard
  • Ability to think strategically with supporting analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced highly visible and fast-changing high growth environment
  • Ability to travel 20%

Certifications Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA Confluence) process diagram tools and/or WMS applications is a plus
  • Experience with SQL and Database Management Systems
