Principal Data Engineer

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will make an impact by supporting the team. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with Healthcare teams.

In this role, you will:

• SQL Server DBA Expertise in Database Management
• Best Practices, Installation/Configuration, Always On, Clustering
• Replication, Backup/Recovery
• Server Migrations
• Optimization
• Troubleshooting, Linked Servers
• PowerShell
• SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Data Partitioning
• Encryption/Certificates
• Capacity Planning, SPNs Proficient with Oracle Client Software
• Redgate SQL Essential Toolbelt, MS Visual Studio
• Cozyroc Experience with Enterprise Job Scheduling Software
• Knowledge of Active Directory

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until August/22/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001–$92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
