Solution Architect For Asean Market
The Solution Architect for the ASEAN market leads end-to-end solutioning for complex, multi-technology deals, focusing on leveraging technology to address business challenges and deliver scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions. This role will be based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solutioning for complex deals involving multiple service lines and technical disciplines, including RFI, RFP, and informal deal processes.
- Guide multi-functional teams of domain experts to design and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Collaborate closely with clients, intermediaries, and internal technical authorities to define solution vision and direction, ensuring alignment with client strategy and transformation roadmaps.
- Translate complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions, maintaining consistency across solution boundaries.
- Work with business stakeholders and project managers to identify inefficiencies in existing processes and applications, recommending fit-for-purpose solutions.
Qualifications
- Location: Singapore.
- Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 15 years' experience in IT Service Delivery and Solutions Architecture, with at least 2 years in two or more of the following: Bespoke Application Development (Agile), Application Maintenance and Support, SAAS implementation (e.g., ServiceNow), Data Platform Implementation, or SG Tech Stack Implementation.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore Public Sector and other domains such as Banking.
- Familiarity with Micro Services Architecture, Java, .Net Core, Data Analytics, ERP, open standards (TOGAF), industry frameworks, and major cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Singapore Government Commercial Cloud, SG Tech Stack, and at least one SAAS platform shortlisted by GovTech.
- Tier-I professional services background.
- Proven experience in planning, designing, and implementing large-scale business-IT solutions.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to clients, including during whiteboarding and oral sessions.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and managing solution build processes effectively.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Capable of understanding enterprise-wide strategies and recommending solutions aligned with the client ecosystem.
- Proven ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders, present compelling propositions, and maintain relationships through content-driven discussions.
- Expertise in translating business needs and architectures into executable solutions.
- Experience in developing estimation models for solution sizing.
- Demonstrated leadership in decision-making and problem-solving.
