Software And Hardware Test Manager

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and revise test plans and procedures and quality standards for software and hardware, focused on wireless products and related accessories
  • Manage the cross functional bug reporting and resolution process, ability to SW upgrade the devices using OEM tools
  • Manage the test sample requirements and inventory. Ensure the distributed samples are tracked and upgraded to the latest available firmware level
  • Validate OEM and test partners test results by executing the regression test plan and perform other adhoc random testing
  • Test and certify MRs (maintenance releases or software updates) and Security MRs by executing the regression plan and the test cases impacted by the MR scope
  • Manage activation and deactivation of the test samples
  • Compile test results data, collect logs and write required engineering reports, to report to OEMs and other fix agents
  • Update issues tracking and management tools to ensure all the information is current and properly shared
  • Troubleshoot related issues and test, maintain, and monitor relevant solutions and logs, Field testing if required to reproduce the issue
  • Monitor customer-reported issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop test methods to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Deploy new test tools as required
  • Knowledge in JIRA and Confluence
  • Understanding of LTE and 5G RF and Core technologies
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and convincingly with all areas of the company – technical and non-technical - as well as with external parties
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and internal Development and E2E teams
  • Self-Starter and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
