In this role, you will:
Serve as a Java Full Stack Architect, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance.
Participate in key stakeholder meetings to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Work as an individual contributor, completing assigned user stories within the sprint timeline.
Independently design modules and ensure they align with overall architecture and best practices.
Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies and perform sprint-level activities effectively.
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned user stories/features, from development through deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for the team as needed.
Communicate effectively with offshore and onsite stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration.
Play the role of Senior Full Stack Engineer (FSE) for this requirement.

What you need to have to be considered:
Experience: Minimum 10 years in software development with proven lead or architect-level experience.
Technical Expertise:
Java Development with strong skills in solutioning, architecture design, and design patterns.
J2EE Technologies: Java.
Frameworks: Spring Boot.
Front-End: Angular, HTML, CSS, Responsive Web Design (RWD), JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Lit/React.
Build & Deployment Tools: Maven, Gradle, Git, JUnit, Mockito, CI/CD pipelines.
DevOps & Cloud: GitHub, Azure DevOps, Docker, Amazon Corretto 17.
Tools: IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio (Front-End), Postman, Cisco AnyConnect, SoapUI, LogDNA, Grafana, Dynatrace.
Domain Knowledge: Airline industry experience preferred; APTCO knowledge is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $97,000 - $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
