Test Lead
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Appium Python Automation, Ansible DevOps, Manual Testing, GIT, and Shell Script. The candidate should also have domain experience in Customer Premises Equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the testing efforts for various projects ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee the development and execution of automated and manual test cases.
- Provide expertise in DevOps practices to streamline testing processes.
- Implement version control using GIT for efficient collaboration.
- Conduct mobile application testing using Appium.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation tasks.
- Use Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
- Write and execute test scripts in Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain documentation of test cases results and defects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to improve testing processes.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in testing.
- Ensure the testing process aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the overall success of the project by ensuring high-quality releases.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering reliable and efficient solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:
- The annual salary for this position is between $104,000 – $134,000 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
