Junior Systems Engineer – Service Now

The Junior Systems Engineer – Service Now, will support incident management and technical operations, focusing on Service Desk, ServiceNow, and Windows systems. This office-based role involves rotational shifts and requires advanced level in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Key responsibilities include resolving incidents, maintaining system performance, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating on process improvements. Candidates should hold certifications such as ITIL Foundation and Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and resolve incidents efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users through the Service Desk.
  • Utilize Service Now to track management and resolve incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure all incidents are logged, prioritized, and resolved within agreed service levels.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent incidents.
  • Maintain and support Windows-based systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on incident status.
  • Participate in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 support coverage.
  • Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent issues.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of new systems and applications.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials for end-users.

Work model: On Site

What you need to have to be considered:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced English and Spanish
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent communication skills in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
  • Show proficiency in using Service Now for incident management.
  • Have a solid understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Exhibit the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Display a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Hold a relevant certification such as ITIL Foundation or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals.
