Java MS & AWS - Senior Development Engineer

Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled developer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS ECS, SQL, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC, Microservices, Rest API, Spring Framework, and SOAP. This role requires working from the office during day shifts with no travel required. The developer will contribute to innovative projects that drive our company's success and positively impact society.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Framework to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test RESTful APIs and SOAP services.
• Utilize AWS ECS for deploying and managing scalable applications in a cloud environment.
• Write efficient SQL queries to interact with databases and ensure data integrity.
• Implement front-end functionality using JavaScript to enhance user experience.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by following best practices and conducting code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure smooth operation of applications.
• Participate in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills.
• Contribute to the documentation of software designs, technical specifications, and user guides.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects by adhering to project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in AWS ECS for cloud-based application deployment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for database management and data manipulation.
• Exhibit expertise in JavaScript for front-end development.
• Have in-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring MVC for building robust applications.
• Show experience in designing and implementing REST APIs and SOAP services.
• Understand the principles of the Spring Framework for enterprise application development.
