Software Engineer

Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer where you will leverage your expertise in SQL, Python, .Net Framework, ASP.NET Core Web API, Vue.JS, and .Net Core to develop innovative solutions in the Bioinformatics domain. With 3 to 5 years of experience you will play a crucial role in advancing our projects contributing to the company’s mission of enhancing healthcare through technology. This role requires working from our office during day shifts with no travel obligations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust software applications using SQL, Python, and .Net technologies to support bioinformatics projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement ASP.NET Core Web APIs that enhance data processing capabilities.
• Utilize Vue.JS to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces that improve user experience and engagement.
• Ensure the scalability and performance of applications by optimizing code and implementing best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery and minimize errors.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications to ensure seamless operation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions.
• Document software designs, code, and processes to maintain clear and comprehensive project records.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and improve team collaboration.
• Work closely with bioinformatics experts to understand domain-specific requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the development of innovative tools and applications that advance the field of bioinformatics.
• Enhance the company’s impact on healthcare by delivering software that supports cutting-edge research and analysis.
• Foster a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, Python, .Net Framework, and .Net Core to develop effective software solutions.
• Exhibit experience in ASP.NET Core Web API and Vue.JS for building modern web applications.
• Possess domain expertise in bioinformatics to effectively address project requirements.
• Showcase strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software development.
• Display excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.

Certifications Required

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or equivalent certification in .Net technologies.
