The Information Technology Analyst – IoT will serve as a key liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. This role is responsible for developing technology strategies, managing infrastructure, and supporting critical systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the primary interface between IT and business units to align technology solutions with organizational needs.
  • Develop and implement technology upgrade and replacement strategies.
  • Participate in business discussions to provide technical insights and optimize application usage.
  • Design, configure, integrate, implement, and troubleshoot process control, automation, laboratory, and manufacturing systems.
  • Manage IT projects using established project management methodologies, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware/software in multi-server, multi-platform environments.
  • Maintain LAN-connected devices (printers, access points, switches, routers, workstations) and resolve network connectivity issues.
  • Oversee IT Change Control processes for infrastructure and software changes.
  • Provide user training on business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) as needed.
  • Manage Acronis system backups and user account/access control for GxP and Active Directory systems.
  • Deliver Level 1 support for POMSnet and Bartender printing systems.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT teams, outsourced partners, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions for IT processes.

Required knowledge and skills include:

  • Experience in GxP-regulated environments and pharmaceutical industry compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems (MES, Waters Empower/Nugenisis, Zebra/Sato printers, SCADA, SAP).
  • Strong technical expertise in server hardware/software, networking, and storage technologies (Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Windows 7/10, VMware vSphere/vCenter).
  • Proficiency in client/server architecture, Active Directory, and networking concepts.
  • Project management skills with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to respond to critical system issues and perform updates outside normal business hours.
  • Customer-focused, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with aseptic manufacturing environments.

Compensation: $70,000 to $74,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 1/03/2026.
