Senior Developer

The Senior Developer plays a critical role in delivering high-quality software solutions within the Asset and Wealth Management domain. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem, while leveraging modern CI/CD and API tools in a hybrid work environment.

In This Role, You Will:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable software applications supporting Asset and Wealth Management business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, build, and test RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
• Utilize Jenkins to enable continuous integration and deployment with automated workflows.
• Manage and maintain source code using GitHub, following version control and collaborative development best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code aligned with industry standards.
• Build modular and scalable applications using Spring Framework and Spring MVC.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability and stability.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and continuously improve code quality.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• Document technical designs, processes, and solutions to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in software development and Asset and Wealth Management.

What You Need To Succeed:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Jenkins, GitHub, and Postman.
• Proven experience developing and deploying scalable enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering quality software solutions within defined timelines and budgets.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant software development experience.

Salary And Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $64,734 – $90,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
