HR Project Manager - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

As an HR Project Manager you will make an impact by taking ownership of allocated project management activities, guiding cross-functional HR projects from inception to successful execution and ensuring all deliverables meet strategic objectives. You will champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring equitable and inclusive practices are embedded across all HR processes and employee touchpoints. You will be a valued member of the HR team and work collaboratively with senior managers and key stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Build effective relationships within the business, providing managers and associates with professional and proactive support through engagement activities.
  • Analyse data, identify trends, and make recommendations on improvements to processes and practices.
  • Actively support BU-related projects and implementation from a people perspective.
  • Drive HR projects aligned to the strategic People Plan including define project scope, create project plans / timelines, anticipate potential roadblocks and risks, and raise and solve issues as they arise

Work model:

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in the Cognizant office in Dublin. What you need to have to be considered:

  • Previous Project Management experience within HR
  • Experience of HR business partnering within a matrix organisation on a wide range of HR topics, providing expert advice to managers and employees, preferably in a business process consultancy environment.
  • Change management experience with the ability to lead standalone projects and work as part of a global HR network.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking skills.
  • Capable of working with a wide range of people and cultural backgrounds.
