The IT Support Specialist is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Support is provided through various channels including phone, chat, web tickets, and in-person assistance. The role involves managing mobile devices, guiding users through troubleshooting steps, escalating unresolved issues to higher-level support, and delivering accurate information about IT products and services. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and technical proficiency across a range of devices and platforms.
In this role, you will:
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Provide accurate information on IT products or services

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $50,500 to $59,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
