Automotive Feature Assurance Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Feature Assurance Engineer with 2 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Diagnostics Validation Test Plan Development and Automotive protocols. This role involves working from the office during day shifts and may require travel. The candidate will contribute to the success of our automotive projects by ensuring high-quality testing and validation processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans that align with project requirements and ensure thorough coverage of all testing scenarios.
- Execute diagnostics validation to identify and resolve issues in automotive systems enhancing overall system reliability.
- Utilize CANoe and CANalyzer tools to perform detailed analysis and testing of automotive protocols ensuring seamless communication between components.
- Implement test and defect management processes to track and resolve issues efficiently contributing to continuous improvement.
- Conduct component testing to verify individual parts meet design specifications and function correctly within the system.
- Perform system testing to validate the integration and performance of all components ensuring the system meets customer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and deliverables fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes highlighting areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance system performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automotive verification and validation processes.
- Support the development of auto-detailed design by providing insights from testing outcomes contributing to design improvements.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on testing progress and discuss potential challenges and solutions.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive testing technologies and methodologies.
- Contribute to the company’s mission by ensuring high-quality products that enhance customer satisfaction and safety.
Qualifications
- Possess strong skills in diagnostics validation and test plan development essential for effective testing processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in automotive protocols CANoe and CANalyzer crucial for analyzing and testing communication systems.
- Experience in test and defect management component testing and system testing vital for ensuring product quality.
- Expertise in auto-verification and validation as well as auto-detailed design necessary for comprehensive testing and design support.
Certifications Required
ISTQB Certified Tester Automotive Software Tester Certification
