Data Operations General Services
We are hiring an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Data Operations General Services professional. Responsibilities include:
- Program management
- Application metrics
- Documentation of applicable applications/support procedures
- Application onboarding
Application/Platform Maintenance:
- Routine maintenance i.e. upgrades
- Corrective maintenance - incident/problem/defect resolution
- Preventative maintenance – efficiency, reliability, and maintainability improvements
Production Support:
- Incident management - work on incidents as assigned
- Track, manage, and resolve incidents assigned to the queue for supported applications.
- Incident trend analysis/analysis for incident root cause
- Problem identification and resolution
- Metrics – platform/application capacity and health metrics
- Continuity – executing disaster recovery plans, population of plan information
- Create/update documentation, knowledge base articles, run books.
- Change ticket tasks, perform activities/validations, etc., as assigned
- Work on job failures/abends
- Identify root cause and suggest fixes.
- Engage development/engineering teams for complex production issues as needed.
- Perform shift handover and takeover activities from between locations.
- Suggest best practices, propose, and implement process improvements.
Operations Support:
- Application/platform monitoring and event management
- Implementation/Deployment activities
Service Requests:
- Work on service requests as assigned
- Work on releases and coordinate with development/engineering teams during release
Deep knowledge in one of the following FIS applications: IST Switch, Clearing, MAS, CBK, Data Navigator.
Language: English (fluent).
