Clinical Field Service Technician

As a Clinical Field Service Technician, you will make an impact by supporting users of computers and software systems. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with Healthcare teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support for users of computers and software systems.
  • Provide hands-on or remote assistance in computer setups, upgrades, software operation, and maintenance.
  • Provide general training for relevant applications and hardware.
  • Respond to client inquiries.
  • Provide technical support to users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Provide instructions or directly set up desktop hardware.
  • Assist with installation of computer software and operating system updates.
  • Record logs of rendered support.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an Onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client office in Worcester, Massachusetts.

What you need to have to be considered:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field.
  • Prior experience in desktop support or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware and software systems.
  • Technical experience in managing and supporting desktop, PC, printers, scanners, network, medical devices, etc.
  • Medical devices that may include but are not limited to: Cameras, Treadmills (cardiology), Electrocardiogram (EKG) devices.
  • Must have good soft skills and people management experience to support physicians and providers.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until August/22/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $37,800–$59,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
