As a Conversational AI Backend Engineer β Google Cloud/CX and Node.js, you will make an impact by designing, building, and maintaining scalable back-end services and conversational workflows for enterprise-grade virtual agents. You will be a valued member of the Conversational AI team and work collaboratively with product owners, designers, conversation designers, and DevOps teams.
β’ Architect and maintain scalable RESTful and event-driven services in Node.js.
β’ Design and implement conversational flows and integrations using Dialogflow CX.
β’ Optimize APIs and backend performance for high throughput and low latency.
β’ Ensure secure coding practices and CI/CD best practices.
β’ Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.

β’ 8β10 years of experience with Node.js and backend engineering.
β’ Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
β’ Proven experience designing APIs and integrating external services.
β’ 3+ years of experience with Google Dialogflow CX.
β’ Experience with GCP services and containerization (Docker).
β’ Experience with other conversational AI platforms (Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework, Rasa).
β’ Knowledge of TTS/STT integrations.
β’ Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform.
β’ Experience with analytics and monitoring tools for conversational AI.
β’ Strong understanding of security and compliance.
