AWS Solution Architect

Excellent opportunity for AWS Solution Architect to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services, and Environment Management Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in Customer’s Cloud ongoing initiatives, strategy, approach, and roadmap
• Step up to advise best in class solution architecture and DevOps implementation guidelines
• Implementation advisor to Application, Database, and Middleware teams for development, deployment, and migration activities
• Plan and Design core AWS platform architecture, including areas such as: Organizations, Account Design, VPC, Subnet, segmentation strategies, Cloud Endure, MGN, DataSync, Backup and DR approach/design, Network connectivity, Direct Connect, TGW, and VPN
• Design and implement ECS clusters using Fargate or EC2 launch types.
• Define task definitions, services, and IAM roles for secure and scalable container deployment.
• Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Should be able to Set up of Multi Account Architecture using Landing Zone, Control Tower, Vending Machines, etc.
• Work with AWS CloudOps L2 and L3 team for deployment and configuration management.
• Scripting experience and the ability to develop AWS EAC (Environment as code) – added advantage.
• Automation / IAC (infrastructure As Code) Solutions using CloudFormation, Terraform.
• CloudFormation and third-party automation approach/strategy, Environment and application automation.
• AWS Cost Management and Optimization mechanisms.
• Design and Implement AWS architectures and environments. Must have experience in implementing the WAF – Well Architected Framework.
• Design Native Cloud Application Architectures or optimize applications for AWS.

Keys Skills and Experience:
