Coders Connect is proud to partner with an innovative scale-up on a mission to supercharge Europe's clean energy transition. They're developing smart, data-driven solutions that help businesses save (and even earn) money while making the power grid greener—with no need for major infrastructure changes. Think batteries, real-time insights, and clever automation all working together to make renewable energy easier to use and scale.

They're growing fast and looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next generation of their backend systems. You'll be joining a small but mighty engineering team shaping the way connected energy assets communicate, operate, and drive impact.

What you'll be doing:

• Writing clean, scalable backend code (Python or Go) to power their service-oriented architecture
• Evolving their tech roadmap and ensuring systems scale alongside their fast-paced growth
• Translating business needs into tech solutions by working closely with commercial stakeholders
• Improving and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps energy assets smart and connected
• Fine-tuning decision-making algorithms to optimize renewable energy usage in real-time
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of collaboration and learning

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience (Python or Golang preferred)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools, Docker, pipelines, and observability stacks (e.g. Prometheus + Grafana)
• Cloud infrastructure know-how, ideally with AWS
• Great communication skills—you can explain technical stuff in plain English
• A proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
• Experience mentoring other developers is a must

Bonus points for:

• Experience in the renewable energy or IoT space
• Familiarity with real-time, high-availability systems and industrial protocols (Modbus, MQTT)
• Infrastructure-as-code skills using Terraform or Pulumi
